AUTOWEBLAW SOLVES PROBLEM OF
FTC CRACKDOWN ON INTERNET MARKETERS

Washington, DC - June 17, 2003

On a Tuesday Morning conference call, the FTC announced its
newly developed Cross-Border Fraud Guidelines . Chairman Muris
made clear their plan to ramp up the enforcement of their
regulations, and their intent to coordinate with worldwide Law
Enforcement Agencies to combat the problem of Cross-Border fraud
on a global basis.

This latest, in a series of announcements, is further evidence
that the FTC is serious about "Cleaning Up the Net"!

In his article, "How to Avoid False or Misleading Internet
Advertising," prominent New York Attorney, Douglas J. Wood
states...

"The FTC has tried to stanch misleading and fraudulent online
advertising for years. While the Commission has made diligent
efforts, until recently it was unable to devote a significant
amount of resources to the problem. As a result, the problem has
ballooned. In late 2001, however, Timothy J. Muris, the FTC's
new chairman, vowed to crack down on companies and individuals
that engage in duplicitous marketing through the Internet. Muris
has pledged to double the resources devoted to the problem over
the next year and to take a much harder line with companies that
intentionally or negligently mislead the public."

"In the end," says the well known Internet Legal expert and
California Attorney, Bruce Safran, "This is a good thing, as the
net has gotten completely out of hand, due to the lack of
resources available to the FTC."

Mr. Safran goes on to say, that the problem is that many honest
and well-meaning small Business owners will get caught in the
crossfire, out of ignorance of what the FTC is asking them to do.

"The Internet is a global business medium," said Mr. Safran.
"Which means, no matter where you're based, you're likely to be
doing business in the USA. The FTC is serving notice that, if
you are doing business in the USA, you will be subject to the
FTC rules and regulations, as well as those of your own country.
And now, they've joined forces with other countries around the
world to enforce those rules."

On the call Mr. Safran asked Chairman Timothy Muris if legitimate
Business owners need to worry about getting caught up in this
law enforcement web.

Mr. Muris replied that honest business owners had little to
fear, as long as they adhered to the rules and regulations of
the FTC.

He also stated that he felt it would be a positive move, as it
would eventually alleviate the tension between the businessed
and the consumer, by building trust through truth in advertising.

"The problem is," stated Len Thurmond, a well know Internet
Marketing Expert and the Editor of 'The Affiliate Review', "Most
small business owners can't afford a high priced lawyer to audit
their promotional materials and develop the documentation that
the FTC is requiring, to bring them into compliance. This type
of legal council and documentation can easily run into the
Thousands."

"Even more frightening," said Mr. Thurmond, "is the fact that
most small business owners don't even realize they have a
problem, until it's too late!"

The latest news on this ever-widening front is the release of a
new software product called AutoWebLaw Pro, developed by Bruce
Safran and Len Thurmond, and designed exclusively to resolve
these problems for the average small businessperson.

"As an Attorney specializing in Internet Law," said Mr. Safran,
"it has become increasingly obvious to me, that many
unsuspecting Businesses are on a collision course with the FTC."

Mr. Safran stated that in 'surfing the net' with an Attorney's
eye, he was astounded at how many of the websites he came
across, were woefully unprotected from FTC intervention.

"In fact," he said, "very few that I came across were anywhere
near compliance."

Recognizing a need for an affordable alternative to High Priced
Attorneys, Mr. Safran set about drafting a set of documents to
solve this otherwise expensive problem.

"I contacted Len Thurmond," said Mr. Safran, "as I knew him to
be an honest and experienced Internet Marketing expert. And, I
knew I needed to develop a workable format, that everyone could
easily use. I also recognized the need for the proper Marketing
vehicle to let the Businesses know there was a viable,
affordable alternative, to their problem."

The resulting product, AutoWebLaw Pro, takes you step by step
through a series of questions and input screens that leads you
directly to the proper documents for your use. And then it
generates a customized and personalized documents that the
user simply copies and pastes into their promotional materials.

The timely release of AutoWebLaw proved most fortuitous, both
for the creators, and the Internet community as a whole, as the
events that unfolded, served notice that the FTC was not playing
around.

"The news broke about the FTC takedown of a very well known
Internet Marketer literally days before the pre-planned release
of AutoWebLaw," said Mr. Thurmond. "We had planned a campaign to
educate people about the need to take care of business, and get
into compliance. But, the 'buzz' created by that unfortunate
event did that for us."

Mr. Thurmond continued to say that he personally knew well known
marketers that had just recently been charged with fraud, due to
the lack of required documentation on their sites.

"The guys I know are good, honest men", said Mr. Thurmond,
"and didn't have a clue they were doing anything wrong,
until it was too late. They never saw it coming!"

"Our intent," stated Mr. Safran, "was to give businesses an
affordable alternative for compliance with the FTC."

"Make no mistake," he continued, "It's no longer a matter of
'IF' they'll notice you, It's now just a matter of 'WHEN'.
And, when they knock on your door...It's Already Too Late!"
